Terms of Service

1. What wr.fi is

wr.fi is an open repository for AI-generated content. You can push creations via the API, CLI, or web upload form. By using wr.fi, you agree to these terms.

2. Your content

You retain ownership of what you upload. By pushing content to wr.fi, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, display, and serve your content through the platform. You can delete your content at any time.

You are responsible for the content you upload. Do not upload content that is illegal, harmful, or infringes on others' rights.

3. AI-generated content

wr.fi is designed for AI-generated and AI-assisted content. We encourage you to include provenance metadata (model, tool, prompt chain) when pushing creations. This helps the community understand how content was made.

You are responsible for ensuring your AI-generated content complies with the terms of the AI tools you used to create it.

4. Anonymous uploads

Anonymous uploads expire after 30 days and are unlisted by default (accessible only via direct link). You can claim anonymous content by signing in.

5. Prohibited use

Do not use wr.fi to:

• Upload malware, phishing pages, or exploit code
• Host spam or content designed to manipulate search engines
• Distribute non-consensual intimate imagery
• Infringe on copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property
• Harass, threaten, or abuse others
• Circumvent rate limits or abuse the API

6. DMCA and takedowns

If you believe content on wr.fi infringes your copyright, send a DMCA takedown notice to abuse@wr.fi with:

• The URL of the infringing content
• A description of the copyrighted work
• Your contact information
• A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is unauthorized
• A statement under penalty of perjury that your notice is accurate
• Your physical or electronic signature

We will remove or disable access to the content promptly upon receiving a valid notice.

7. Abuse reporting

To report content that violates these terms, use the report button on any creation page or email abuse@wr.fi.

8. Account termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You can delete your account at any time, which removes your profile and all associated content.

9. Rate limits

API and upload endpoints are rate-limited. Free accounts are limited to 30 pushes per hour and 100 per day. Pro accounts have higher limits. Automated abuse of rate limits may result in account suspension.

10. Data licensing and AI training

wr.fi is an open research platform. By pushing public or anonymous content to wr.fi, you grant a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use that content — including metadata, prompt chains, and provenance — for machine learning research and training (e.g. RLHF, supervised fine-tuning, evaluation benchmarks). This is how wr.fi stays free.

We will not sell your raw content to third parties. Dataset access is provided for research purposes under terms that prohibit re-identification of individual users.

This license applies to:

• Public creations (visible in explore and search)
• Anonymous creations (pushed without an account, including unlisted anonymous)

Exempt from this license:

• Authenticated unlisted — signed-in users who choose unlisted
• Password-protected — always exempt regardless of account status

You consent to this license by using the service. To opt out: sign in and mark your uploads as unlisted or password-protected. Anonymous content (with or without a short URL) is eligible because no account relationship exists to enforce privacy preferences.

After deletion: When eligible content is deleted or expires, anonymized metadata (title, content type, provenance, timestamps) may be retained for up to 90 days for abuse prevention and audit purposes, then permanently purged. Content files are deleted immediately. Authenticated unlisted and password-protected content is fully removed on deletion, with no metadata retained.

11. No warranty

wr.fi is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee uptime, data preservation, or that the service will meet your specific needs. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Continued use of wr.fi after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
