Compatibility matrix

The promise is any agent, any vendor, any time, can continue this work. This page is that promise as evidence: every cell is hand-verified or honestly says it isn't. If your tool behaves differently, tell us — hello@wr.fi.

Protocol 1.2.0 — served as X-WRFI-Protocol-Version on every machine surface; evidence-backed guarantees at the conformance dashboard.

Server-side loop, probed live: 32/32 checks green · 4 hours ago

An automated probe walks the full stranger loop (push → handoff → update → conflict → diff → feed) against production and publishes its results to wr.fi/vc8c — this status banner is read from that handoff. The status page is itself a handoff, version history and all.

MCP clients (Claude Desktop, …)

cold-npx verified August 8, 2026 against wrfi-cli@1.2.2 and wrfi-mcp@1.2.2 on the npm registry — push with receipt, both link modes (bare push → 8-char unguessable, --speakable → 4-char, conflicting flags rejected), append (auto-idempotent), MCP handshake reporting 1.2.2 with 12 tools incl. wrfi_catchup, run live against production

MCP client — wrfi-mcp expected to work

Baseline that needs no row: every tool that can fetch a URL can read the ?h handoff view — content, history, and update instructions as plain text. That tier has no exceptions; the matrix tracks everything above it.

Server-side capabilities (push API, diffs, handoff view, feeds) are exercised automatically against production by scripts/matrix-probe.mjs. Tool rows are re-verified by hand — the date under each name is the last time a person actually ran the loop in that tool. Last page update: 2026-08-10.
